- Day 2: We’ll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast, with a break at the equator for some photos. Then we’ll proceed to Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward, for a boat cruise. We’ll stay overnight at a nice and comfortable lodge/hotel.
- Day 3: We’ll do a game drive at Queen Elizabeth National Park then drive to Kibale National Park, and observe the natural beauty and impressive sight of the legendary “mountains of the moon.” We’ll stay overnight at a nice and comfortable lodge/hotel.
- Day 4: We’ll do chimpanzee tracking, and see them above the tall canopy trees. You’ll enjoy the chimpanzee playing, feeding, and swinging over tree branches. Then we’ll go for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward. Then we’ll drive to Ishasha Sector where you’ll stay overnight at a nice and comfortable lodge/hotel.
- Day 4: We’ll do a game drive at Ishasha Sector where you can spot tree climbing lions. Then we’ll drive to Bwindi National Park for relaxation and stay overnight at a nice and comfortable lodge/hotel.

Day 1: We’ll drive from Kampala to Nyakalengija via Kasese with a lunch break and activities along the way.

Day 2: The trail will lead us through the forest to Kurt Shufer Bridge, passing through the bamboo, and traversing through a long and exhausting stretch of slippery covered-moss rock. You’ll have a view of Mt. Stanley and Mt. Speke.

Day 3: The trail will lead us across the Bujuku River. The Bigo Bog gives way to Lake Bijuku, with a view of Mt. Baker to the south and Mt. Stanley to the west.

Day 4: Following the steep slopes, the trail leads to a magical groundsel gully as it ascends to Scott-Elliot Pass at 4,372 meters/14,344 feet. A metal ladder will take you over a steep section after which the trail splits into two. The right leads to Helena Hut and Mt. Stanley on a steep trail over a large boulder, and the left path leads to Scott-Elliott Pass, then down to Kitandara Hut.

Day 5: We’ll continue to the base of Stanley Glacier to attempt Margherita Peak at 5,109 meters/16,762 feet. It’s a technical climb with proper climbing gear, such as roping, crampons, and appropriate equipment for cold, windy, and icy conditions. The climb requires a minimum of four people to do it, two guides and two climbers.

Day 4: This will be a cold day as you’ll walk across the tussock grass that will keep your feet wet because of the ooze below the grass. We’ll come to a point where we can see Mt. Stanley to the west and Mt. Baker to the south. The camp will be set in a very cold area that’s worth it because it’s the best area for acclimatization for climbing Mt. Stanley or Mt. Speke.
